Profile Information

"How are you involved in preparing for the changes that peak oil, economic instabilty and climate change are bringing, and in creating resilience and sustainable life style in our communities?"
I work for Rural Vermont, and volunteer with Freeride Montpelier and Black Sheep Books. Take a look at any of their mission statements/websites! I greatly appreciate the work that people are doing directly and indirectly associated with the Transition movement.

Hi, Colin!
What can you tell me by tomorrow morning about Montpelier actions for Oct. 24 (350.org)? I'd like to put the news out over the airwaves tomorrow when I do my show (4-6 p.m.) on WGDR!
Thanks,
Beth Champagne (bcham@sover.net)

Hi Colin! Thanks for doin' the profile thing and getting Rural Vermont up as a group. One potential of this site is for all or most of VT's 'enviromental' 'sustainability' 'Transition' or whatever groups to have a presence here. It's already becoming the place a lot of folks check first to see what's happening event-wise, at least in the Central Vt. area.
It would be great to have you and your knowledge at the Feeding our Communities Open Space on Sat April 4! (see 'events'!).
Cheers! George ~
