Hi, Carolyn! I just wanted to say that, especially in transition times, I do find the thought of someone else preparing some food to be a really comforting idea! :)
I think if you make under a certain amount of money you don't need to have an inspected kitchen. I am not sure which state agency you ask about this. Probably some one here knows.

Carolyn, I have heard that you can get a caterer's license in Burlington by using their own facility for the class and license, not sure where exactly, you can then work from your own kichen after it is approved. That's all I know for now.
