Profile Information

"How are you involved in preparing for the changes that peak oil, economic instabilty and climate change are bringing, and in creating resilience and sustainable life style in our communities?"
I'm not yet because I've recently moved back to the area, but I'm very interested in the movement.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I think we are living in a very exciting part of history at the moment, and it's up to us to change our perceptions and ways of life in order not just to survive, but to enrich the lives we lead and promote greater peace among all living beings.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
Other than leading by example, I'm still trying to figure that out.

Hi Mindi! Welcome!
"Other than leading by example, I'm still trying to figure that out."
You might like to get a copy of the Transition Handbook by Rob Hopkins into the house. It is quite an amazing and inspiring resource for responding to our times as whole human beings and whole communities. If ya wanna read a review, check out mine under blogs, here.

Cheers! George Lisi, Transition Town Montpelier ~
