"How are you involved in preparing for the changes that peak oil, economic instabilty and climate change are bringing, and in creating resilience and sustainable life style in our communities?"
My husband is involved with the movement here in Hardwick. I am looking to support these folks through this site.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am a homesteader and have many skills in this area. I work with people well and would be happy to share such skills.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
Mainly through my skills as a teacher, my skills at raising and slaughtering animals, my knowledge of veggie farming and winter storage.
"this technology is amazing..... " The really cool thing is that people are making this site their own and USING it for real world important stuff!! Yeee-ha!
Hey Jeanne, welcome! It's good to see you here.
Thinking about all your skills and your desire to support Hardwick area TT through this site, why not start a discussion or two about practical homestead skills? This could lead very naturally to some on-site skill sharing, maybe in the form of getting help with some task/event happening on your homestead anyway?
