Hi George,

We are collectively gardening at ATN with 6-8 folk growing crops together. We plan to grow more dry beans and flint corn this year and continue to expand pour storage crops.

Hey Janice!
Have you checked out the "Matching Landowners with Grower/Gardeners" discussion here? Note Matthew's comment 'bout serious growers looking for land. I'm sure ATN folks have thought a lot about the land there - perhaps there are some opportunities there for the upcoming growing season?
Cheers! George ~

Hey Janice,
The "Feeding Vermont" discussion is growing. Check it out and let us know how the Thresher Coop is going. What's your experience been with using the equipment for the first time?

Greetings Janice. I love your term "right livelihood" -- It's a perfect expression for the times. You've already connected with George -- good choice. Feel free to introduce yourself to the other 15 people. Welcome.

Hi Janice!
Wonderful to see you here! A qucky way to get in the ballpark about Transition Towns, (with a local slant), might be to check out my review of the Transition Handbook here. Also check out http//transitiontowns.org . And ask questions here! I'd write more, but gotta get ready to go to the Roots Rendevous!
Check out "Feeding Vermont" (click on 'forums'), and let us know the latest Thresher Coop news!

Cheers! George
