Thanks for the welcome.
Transition is a big deal here. Locally we've got municipalities going green with the eco-municpality movement, but it is often more talk than action. A very active and growing Alliance for Sustainability is encouraging. It's really full-time and fully active here. So far to go though....
We are getting together three times to, each time, discuss a part of the Transition handbook. The dates are 11/24, 12/8 and 12/22

Putney transition is indeed cranking. After a very heart warming, enthusiastic and very well attended (50) meeting two weeks ago, we are starting a book group this tuesday.

Had left hip replacement 4 whks ago and rehabing that. going well. we have chickens now. They are wonderful.
