Profile Information

"How are you involved in preparing for the changes that peak oil, economic instabilty and climate change are bringing, and in creating resilience and sustainable life style in our communities?"
As a Transition instructor, a co-founder of the Transition movement in the US, a co-founder of Transition Initiative Portland.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I was drawn to its empowering of local communities to address their own issues...Its focus on authenticity, inclusivity, collaboration, its integration of the inner and outer landscapes... the fact that it is bottom up and adaptive...that it uses positive visioning and enables people to co-create the future they want to live in.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
Pat Proulx-Lough and I are Transition Facilitators. We hold Training events wherever people see the need..

I serve on the national Training Workgroup.

We run monthly teleconferences for people to connect with and ask questions of current leaders in Transition Initiatives.
