Glad to join Carl. Missed you on the bike ride for climate action but know you had other commitments.

Hi, Carl! I miss the days when I regularly made it to the PoCSuN potluck meetings. The thought crossed my mind last week that I might attempt to schedule myself to listen over my computer to the Thursday morning Peak Oil Check-In at wgdr.org, since it's even available via dial-up internet. I miss keeping up with what you share on that program.
I do hear from Nancy Notterman via e-mail, and I know that the Hardwick folks plan a major meeting Nov. 15 as a follow-up to HEART and HATT's collaboration on Climate Action Day events in Hardwick last Saturday, Oct. 24. I would like to attend the Sunday 11/15 brainstorming session to develop an Energy Descent Action Plan (EDAP)!
She didn't give time and place; I ask her and pass on that information here.
All best,

Beth

Hi Carl, Glad to see the Post Carbon Sustainability group on this website. The group is focused on root cellaring - educating why and how, and implementing root cellars in our communities. Transition Town Montpelier has produced a user friendly booklet, Root Cellaring in Vermont: Why and How to Do It, by Richard Czaplinski, as a part of Transition Re-skilling series. PocSun meets the third Wednesday of each month in the fall and winter, and is an open meeting. Best, Annie
